ILKON is the home of Ilkeston Contemporary Arts which is housed in the former Methodist church on Heanor Road, bringing creative arts to the community and wider region. The converted church features St Cecila in their central stained glass windows, which was used as the inspiration for the name (ILKON from Chaucer’s ‘The Second Nun’s Tale’) and the iconographic logo.
